Project Description (Demo) The Case-Based Learning Environment for Classroom Management Problem Solving (CBL-CMPS) has been designed to improve teacher education students’ real-world problem solving abilities to deal with dilemmas faced by practicing teachers in elementary classrooms. This online resource consists of four dilemmas (e.g., a troubled child) and one test dilemma. Based on Jonassen’s (1997, 1999) constructivist learning environment model and the general process of ill-structured problem solving, five stages of learning activities (Reviewing Problems, Analyzing Problems, Creating Solutions, Making Decisions, etc) were developed for each case. One case per week was completed in regular courses with a hybrid approach.
