Course Procedures – Spring, 2009

Class 1	• Attend Studio Orientation • Submit Profile to Studio People Database (on Studio Website) • Read Studio Handbook Thoroughly (download here)
	• Take inventory of tools at UGA, work/school, etc. • Get familiar with tools • 2nd timers begin counseling 1st timers	• Job Fair: "Apply" for position on EDIT Team Project • Mentor 6190 Participants	• Job Fair: Post "Job Ad" for a Team project or "Apply" for a position on existing EDIT Team Project • Mentor 6190 and 6200 Participants

Class 2	• Begin work on Projects - Repeat Performance of Studio Showcase
	• Attend Q&A Pizza Party! • Purchase tool books/tutorials or borrow manuals • Start learning tools	• Attend Q&A Pizza Party! • Follow-up on applications to Team Projects • Identify topic for independent project • Post first "15/5" project report and update each Wednesday by 8 pm for the rest of the semester	• Attend Q&A Pizza Party! • Participate as panelists in class discussion on "how to succeed in the Studio". • Review job applications and choose team members; notify all applicants • Construct project web site and enter the URL in the Job Fair page. • Conduct first project meeting (be sure to post date, time, and room of this and all future meetings on project site in advance) • Post first "15/5" project report and update each Wednesday by 8:00 pm for the rest of the semester

Classes 3 -14	• Work on course and project requirements • Register for and attend studio workshops/seminars as needed • Participate in "desk crits" (give and get feedback) • Attendance required TBA, TBA, & TBA
	• Begin Independent Project and Reflection Paper (have conversations with counselors) • Attend at least two EDIT 6210 Meetings	• Attend all meetings of the EDIT 6210 project on which you are participating • Participate as a "consultant" to the EDIT 6210 Team • Observe and learn about team dynamics	• Schedule, plan, & conduct project meetings • Sign-up for Comprehensive Exam (available dates/times announced by about class 6)

Class 20 TBA	EDIT STUDIO SHOWCASE – PUBLIC INVITED!
