Needs Assessment

The list of IDAs below is sorted by the quality of the response:

• Exemplary - A model answer in almost every way (this is given out very rarely).
• Satisfactory - Very well done; the participant met the expectations of the assignment. There may be some minor problems, so read the instructor feedback well.
• Marginal Pass - The participant passes, but there are lots of issues to consider. Read the instructor feedback very carefully and be sure to understand the points/issues raised.
• Not satisfactory, redo and resubmit - The assignment was not completed appropriately. There is major concern that the participant does not understand the design process well enough yet. To get credit for the assignment, the participant needs to redo the IDA, most probably on another topic. Read and consider the instructor feedback very carefully before redoing.
