WWILD Team Research - Member Informed Consent

The WWILD Team site has research goals related to describing and understanding the characteristics of online learning and online communities. All members agree to allow any or all of their material (member information, module submissions, reviews, etc.) posted to the site to be included in research analyses. The WWILD Team administrators ensure all members that all information used for such research purposes remain totally confidential.

The WWILD Team research proposal is currently under review by the Institutional Review Board (IRB) of the University of Georgia. No WWILD Team member data will be used in any research analysis until IRB approval is granted. Once approval is granted, it will be assumed that members who join the WWILD Team before IRB approval is granted agree to allow all their data to be included in all research analyses. Members who do not wish to have their data included before IRB approval is granted should not join the WWILD Team until then. (This page will be updated once IRB approval has been given.)
